We had a high mileage minivan, a shoestring budget, two weeks off from school and work and this dream to see more of the country than we had, so during holiday break 2022 we set out from North Carolina for West Texas and New Mexico.

Free Radio Werewolf tells the story of land is producer/composer Corbie Hill's family trip through howling winter storm and deep freeze ("Sideways Snow," "Red River Crossing II") to sun-baked deep desert ("Time is Just Local Physics," "Desert Creatures") and back across expansive Texas toward home ("Farewell Anthem"). Some cuts are as propulsive as a vehicle rocketing across the western plains, while others are as sprawling and open as the plains themselves.
